Indie Cade!

In lieu of Nintendo, I checked out some Indiecade games.

Easily my favorite thus far. Dialogue driven text game about corrupted memory and the end of the world. You have to figure out who you are, and interact with strange entities. Horror vibe. Very cool.

Overland

Only watched gameplay of this. Blend of FF Tactics and X-Com. Randomly generated world objects, etc. Collect resources and move further west. Encounter weirder monsters as you do. Devs very honest. 5-6 zones so far, 7th new one is an AI mess right now.

Obduction

From makers of Myst and Riven. Kickstarter in 2013. You are dropped off in a world. Figure it out. Puzzles. Very excited for this.

We Are Chicago

Telltale-esque narrative driven game about the south side of Chicago. Trying to put a human light on why inner city people make the decisions they do. They are trying to donate game proceeds to charity, while open some eyes in the process. Watch this game.
